Exceptionally rare Lotus Exige Cup 240 model in ‘Race’ specification (fully road legal).
It is believed that in total across both versions (Race and Road) only 27 cars were registered in the UK. So this is a very rare car and the only one with the registration A240CUP !
The car has only had 7 owners 3 of which have been myself. Impeccably maintained with no expense spared as the receipts show.
Perfect condition to enjoy either on the road or for track days.
Recommissioned in early 2025 with the following work carried out:-
Main Service, Brake Fluid, Spark Plugs, Air Filter, Gearbox Oil, Coolant, New Supercharger Belt, Brace Bar Kit, Grooved Brake Discs and Pagid RS14 Pads and Ohlin Rebuild. Accusump rebuild. New Toyo R888R Tyres and Geometry Check.
And in 2026 it has had a Supercharger rebuild, new battery, annual service and MOT
Just had new battery fitted

A little general info on the car is below:
In 2005, Lotus announced it would be launching the first track-ready versions of the S2 Exige in the 190 and Cup 240. Picked from the regular production line and hand built by the Motorsport Division, the 240 was the first model to be fitted with a supercharger and the huge standard specification included traction control, twin oil coolers, Accusump system, Torsen LSD, heavy duty clutch, Ohlins adjustable dampers, AP Racing brakes and lightweight wheels. The model also came available in ‘Road’ or ‘Race’ specification, which was denoted by the no-cost options of an FIA approved six-point roll cage, mechanical ignition kill switch (Internal and external) as well as electrical fire extinguisher system.
Car comes with standard Silver Cup wheels and Yokohama V105 Tyres and Black 250 Cup Forged wheels with Toyo R888 tyres.
