Transform the gearchange on your k series Elise s1 and s2 with these precision made nylatron gear linkage bushes.

These replace your worn rubber bushes on the cable ends of the gear linkage and the plastic bushes on the bell crank pivot.

When fitted these will give a much more positive feel to the gear change

The time has come to sell my much loved & cared for S1 Exige.

54,097 miles full service history & MOT to May 2027.

Had the VHPD K Series engine fully rebuilt by Jason Langan of Hellier Performance in August 2023. Jason was one of the original guys working on the VHPD for Janspeed. Clutch replaced & lightweight flywheel fitted. Engine ran in on a bench using Jason’s instructions.

Gearbox re-built whilst engine was out by CMC Motorsport.

Aircon pump and other parts replaced & is now fully working.

New battery, crank sensor, toe arms & other parts.

All paperwork available, total investment was £12,500.

Driven less than 250 miles since rebuild.

Fully original Exige S1 apart from being fitted with 46mm Nitron Track Day Pro adjustable suspension.

The engine was fitted as a brand new VHPD short unit in2008 at a mileage of 36,000 miles.

I am sure some on this group will know me, Andrew Goater, regarding PG1 gearbox building. Over the last 10 or more years, I have supplied numerous B4BP close ratio gearboxes for Lotus cars on this group.

For racing the B4BP is too long gears. In a similar way that Lotus have their own UCR gear in the 340R cars, I have had custom made a 3 gear (6 sprocket) kit which uses the original C ratio gears 1 and 2 but a very close ratio 3, 4 and 5. The intention is you only use 1st gear off the line and 2 to 5 are very close. It fits a C6BP 3.9 final drive box and on 16" wheels gives a top speed of 125mph. If you use bigger wheels or your engine revs more than 7500rpm a 4.2 final drive can be used.

The gears are helical and are the same tooth design as the original gears. So, unlike using straight cut, these are quiet.

3rd, 1.47. 4th, 1.222, 5th, 1.034.

Track day car has gone and garage clearout now, Set of four wheels from my S2 Toyota Elise. Some marks on rims and some lacquer not perfect as used on track. Need to go!

Early lightweight model with MMC discs and Aluminium engine cover etc. I have owned the car for the past 26 years. Never tracked or abused. Engineer owned and maintained. Always kept in garage Car is factory spec with only a few enhancements, s/s exhaust, light covers etc, that can easily be returned to original spec if required. Faulty Stack unit was replaced 7 years ago hence milage offset. Present stack mileage 6357 mls actual mileage 21537mls (Mileage supported by documents) Full documented service history with parts receipts and all old MOT’s. This is my 1991 Elan which I acquired in 2019 and have had serviced annually by leading Lotus specialist GST Performance - it was Gerald Turner's personal car. It is believed to be one of, if not the, highest mileage 'working' Elan in the world. It has a complete service history with 47 stamps in the owners manual, the last 30, from 2007, by GST. The bodywork shows its age/mileage with stone rash, a couple of scrapes on the bumpers and some peeling paint lacquer at the rear but it is still reasonably presentable. The soft top screen is milky and could do with changing but there are no rips or tears to the hood and I tend use the wing mirrors. It has the desirable S2 wheels which have recently been refurbished and are shod with good Michelin tyres. A quick car that is mechanically in good condition.
