One set of genuine Lotus Victory alloy wheels from a year 2000 Sport 160 Elise S1, these are staggered sizes/widths in 15" fronts and 16" rears in standard 95.25 PCD fitment. The wheels are totally unmarked and 'like new' as they have just been fully refurbished this week by City Wheels of Birmingham. They come complete with correct decal Lotus stickers and green/yellow centre caps.
I can only see one other set for sale at the moment and they are over £2k.
2 Owners from new
I’ve owned my Elise since June 2013, buying it from her first owner after a long search to find one in perfect mechanical condition and with a good service history. Unfortunately I just haven’t used it as much as I’d hoped, covering only 2,500 miles in 12 years, and only 300 miles in the last 5 years. I keep hoping I’ll have the time, but have to recognise I won’t, and it sits forlorn in the garage. I was lucky to get a Civic Type R allocation at the start of 2023, and that has been the fun car of choice (3 kids mean that back seats are important…), so the Elise is just never driven.
Completely original apart from the Bell & Colvill Sports Exhaust and the EPTuning Carbon Air intake. She had all the extra boxes ticked when new - metallic paint, leather seats, stereo system, driving lamps, luggage nets, carpets.
The perfect project Elise in a very honest condition - I haven’t prepped the car for sale beyond a simple wash and vacuu…
In excellent overall condition.
The price is collected from Rayleigh, Essex, although I would be willing to post worldwide at additional cost.
Carbon fibre gear knob to fit any K Series engined cars, I import them from the 'States and machine a hex bronze insert for them to fit the stock M12 x 1.25 thread that's an M10 x 1.5 thread to fit the gear lever. The extra weight (160g) of this compared with an ally one also helps with the shift. Unfortunately the pics don't do them justice, the carbon weave is perfect and has to be seen to be believed! Delivery is to U/K only
Pair of Elise front uprights, from my 2001 S2, they have been bead blasted and triple powder coated, for the rebuild of my car.
They'd had new bearings fitted, but the car wasn't driven out of the workshop before they were dismantled and replaced with a pair of Gaz's CNC machined ally ones.
There are a few small places where the paint has come off during assembly and subsequent dismantling, which you can see if you zoom in, nothing drastic though!
Delivery will be at cost with Paisley Freight, as they're the cheapest for heavy items.
Pair of standard S1 Elise seats in excellent condition. No scratches, cuts, abrasions, or colour loss. The lumbar pump on the driver’s seat work as it should.
The wear patch on the driver’s seat has been professionally replaced with the correct material. Both seats have then been recoloured the original Viking Blue.
The price is collected from Rayleigh, Essex.
Leather covered side sills, with blue stitching, from my S2, very good condition, selling them as I've replaced them with some carbon ones. Also included with them are a matching gear lever and handbrake gator with the blue stitching, which i never got around to fitting. I've now been asked how much to collect them, rather than having them delivered, and the answer I said was £110 as it saves the hassle of boxing them up and taking them to the Post office or Evri depot.
I am sure some on this group will know me, Andrew Goater, regarding PG1 gearbox building. Over the last 10 or more years, I have supplied numerous B4BP close ratio gearboxes for Lotus cars on this group.
For racing the B4BP is too long gears. In a similar way that Lotus have their own UCR gear in the 340R cars, I have had custom made a 3 gear (6 sprocket) kit which uses the original C ratio gears 1 and 2 but a very close ratio 3, 4 and 5. The intention is you only use 1st gear off the line and 2 to 5 are very close. It fits a C6BP 3.9 final drive box and on 16" wheels gives a top speed of 125mph. If you use bigger wheels or your engine revs more than 7500rpm a 4.2 final drive can be used.
The gears are helical and are the same tooth design as the original gears. So, unlike using straight cut, these are quiet.
3rd, 1.47. 4th, 1.222, 5th, 1.034.
At 70mph (113kph) the rpm's are at 4500 in top gear. This does mean it's very fast to accelerate at this …
