Complete VVC Engine, bought for the head alone, following head gasket failure of my tuned engine, when it was on the dyno.
It turned out that I didn't need to replace the head after all, hence the reason for selling. I bought it from a family run breaker, that I found on eBay with really good feedback on 690+ sales.
They were offering it partly dismantled, along with everything required to rebuild it. I contacted them and asked if I could buy it without the gaskets, seals and valve springs etc. They agreed and I bought it.
The head has been vapour blasted, and is in very good condition, the valves have absolutely minimal play in the guides, suggesting relatively low mileage. The cylinder bores all look good, but I have no idea of the condition of the gearbox.
I've just bought a new tablet, and so far I haven't figured out how to post pics on here. U2U me your mobile no and I'll What's App the pics that way.

If you're interested and want to see pics U2U me your mob no and I'll What's App you them. The included delivery price applies yo U/K only

Lotus Exige 380 Cup finished in Essex Blue, 2 owner car supplied and maintained by Williams Automobiles followed by Bell & Colvill with the most recent service and MOT in December 2025.
The car has covered under 14,000 miles and is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. Brand new OEM valved exhaust just fitted and benefiting from PPF to the front clam, sills and leading edges. Back on Track set the car up last year with a ‘fast road’ geometry too.
Believed to be one of just 12 in the UK and 60 worldwide, the Exige 380 Cup is a special car with all of the carbon fibre options - access panel, roof, splitter, sills, sill covers, seats, diffuser surround and big wing. Underneath, the Cup was upgraded with Nitron suspension and multistage traction/slip control, combined with the additional aero making this a serious trackday car.
Whilst a stripped-out road racer, this car has been specified with the important creature comforts of air condit…

This is a very tentative advert to see what the interest is in such a rare item. I have recently purchased a lovely little S1 with a genuine dealer fitted Sport 190 vhpd conversion. I intend to replace the engine and box once I can get something built that would be akin to the engine that was in my Hillclimb race car that was sadly stolen. There is some very interesting history that came with the car and the engine was refreshed about 5000 miles ago apparently. It had been sat for a few years prior to my ownership but it does run really well even on the ECU used with this conversion. I will be using it as is for a few more Hillclimbs so if you are interested In it by all means pop and see me at one of the BHC events or give me a call to discuss. Whilst it doesn’t seem to use any oil or water and starts on the button I would of course recommend a refresh/check before use. It’s a blueprinted Minister engine (193 bhp) Throttle bodies have been changed to the Caterham equivale…
