Golf GTi Mk6

Mark 6 Golf GTi, 6 speed manual 210PS, in classic combination of Candy White exterior, tartan cloth interior. Standard specification with addition of factory privacy glass.

Advertising on behalf of my son who is selling as he has a “Mini itch” that he wants to scratch!

This is a UK supplied car and has both keys present along with original handbooks and delivery sheet to first owner! Although the service history isn’t complete, it has only had 4 registered owners.

The first owner appears to have been VW or Inchcape, who delivered the car to John Lewis Fleet in June 2010. They ran the car for 3 years and 22k miles. The next owner (listed as 3^rd) bought it on 13/12/13 and had it for approx. 12 years and 70k miles, during which time it was predominantly self-serviced (unfortunately we’ve been unable to obtain supporting documents).

We purchased it late last year through a trade contact who acquired it from Porsche West Byfleet.

MOT history is strong with only 3 (minor) failures listed all of which were rectified same day. History all available online under reg E18 JOB. Next MOT is due end of July.

Since purchasing it last November it has been serviced, had a new ignition lock switch and 2 new front Kumho tyres. A new OEM style head unit has been fitted with Carplay/Android connectivity – original is also available.

Condition of the car is very good both cosmetically and mechanically and it drives really well, pulling strongly in all gears. The climate control AC blows cold. Next job would be to have the original alloys refurbed. Apart from the rear spoiler, door mirror caps, and black badges the car is standard – no evidence of any remaps or tuning. Original bottle opener is included!

Current plate will be removed prior to sale, expect to revert to WP10 FOH.
