Exige engine cover/tailgate prop

Exige hatch prop strut, as new unfitted, unused.
This is from the firm ‘Really Light Stuff’ in the ‘States, i bought it from a guy on here who’d bought it and paid £125 for it with import charges on top, but by the time he’d got it he’d decided to sell his car.
I bought it for my Elise, as my original one was bent and i couldn’t straighten it nicely enough for my liking!
However it won’t work for an Elise engine hatch as it’s too short!

It’s a 10mm dia. rod with 500mm centres to the 10mm dia. holes each end, also included with it are 2 plastic clips with double sided tape backing.
