Accusump

I have a used Accusump sitting around which I removed from my K20 S1 recently.

It’s probably about 10 years old, all worked perfectly until a few months ago when it blew a load of oil out of the relief valve. Suspected cause was either a scored bore or a worn/old seal (old hardened seal most likely). Or maybe just a weak pressure relief valve (£33 swap, small spanner job). Anyway, I don’t drive the car that hard any more so I didn’t investigate, just removed it to free up boot space and keep things simple for road use.

Apparently they can be opened up and serviced if that’s what it needs. You’d have to look into that.

If it’s of any interest to anyone on here then I’m happy to move it on cheaply to free up shelf space.
