Anyone in need of a truly magnificent long distance motorway carry-all? 45-50mpg @ 70-80mph @ 1.7k rpm.
Have had this Sportbrake for 9 years now and have covered 90k faultless miles nearly always at motorway speeds (we have small car for local drives). Retirement means that we no longer need anything this large.
This XF is the full fat 3.0 V6 diesel in Portfolio spec. This means Meridian HiFi; Heated & Cooled seats; full leather (in burgundy/red) and 20″ wheels (perfect condition after refurb ~ 4 years ago). Tyres (Goodyear F1 Asymmetric) are on 4-5mm all round and wearing evenly. (Also have 18″ wheels with all-season tyres that have done ~ 5k miles … would be happy to sell too for a £400).
Condition is amazing for a 12 yr old 100k mile car. People still stop and remark on how new she still looks. Slight nose scuff (driving up to kerb) and slight catch on driver side front bumper … both easy fixes with bumper off respray. Otherwise ding free (and accident free in my ownership). Last polished and ceramic coated professionally last year and since only been washed by me (snow foam / double bucket etc etc).
Full service history (mostly with dealer). Next service due Feb 27 (+MOT). Next big service Feb 28 when timing chain will need to be done again (I carried this out after 7 years on schedule).
