This is a special-edition variant of the Lotus Elise S2, Build No. 072 /100 limited run in Silver Mica, which was developed by Lotus Sport and Performance in conjunction with the Lotus Ride and Handling team.
It is powered by the 1.8-litre naturally aspirated K-Series engine, tweaked by the factory to produce 135hp thanks to modified cylinder head ports, a cast alloy intake manifold and a reprogrammed ECU, driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. It has factory 16-inch O.Z. Racing lightweight cast alloy wheels which were refurbished in 2024 at the same time as fitting new Yokohama Advan AD08RS tyres, as per factory. They are all as new, with a set of new black wheel bolts to finish them off.
It has done 26,900 miles, and I have owned it since December 2023 keeping it in a heated garage and just using at weekends and for the occasional drive to work.
It had the big ‘C’ service in April 2024 at Back-On-Track in Guildford, the place to take your Lotus. This included all new fluids (engine, brakes, clutch, gearbox) as well as timing belt, aux belt and plugs. Jez gave the car a clean bill of health.
The interior of the 135R has a bespoke blue Alcantara and black carbon leather-trimmed interior, with ‘135R’ lettering on the seats and bespoke floor mats. It all looks like new, after I refurbished the plastics to remove that “sticky” issue some can suffer from and used alcantara cleaner to remove any grim and dirt from the blue areas. The car has a removeable alcantara OMP steering wheel for extra security. This is the only modification from factory.
The engine bay, front compartment and wheel arches have all been cleaned and detailed, as well as removing the seats to give a decent clean in all the corners. The black roof is still as new and fits really well.
Overall the paintwork is excellent, with no major stone chips on the front and it really pops after having a decent polish and wax. There are some road rash marks on the lower sills on each side, as expected with Elises.
I have a folder full of all receipts for the car, including the original bill of sale, all MOTs, servicing and receipts for spare parts. It just had a new MOT with no advisories, which expires 27th June 2026. The car has been consistently MOT’d every year (no fallow periods) and has only ever failed on a wiper blade and miss-spaced number plates. The private plate N25 OSS will come with the car.
