Lotus Elise S1

Hi,

I’ve owned this lovely Elise for the past 5+ years and 12,000 miles but given a lot of other commitments have barely used it this year and think it’s time for a new owner to enjoy it!

I bought it from a family who’d owned it for ~10 years beforehand, only making way because the previous owner got an Exige S3.

It’s early days and I know people tend not to buy these in winter so will take some nice photos soon but have put some here to give a flavour and gauge interest.

Work Done

• Headgasket replacement and timing belt (summer 2021)
• Complete suspension and brake refurb (March 2020)
• Interior refurbishment including trim, seats, steering wheel (July 2020)
• Complete fuse box replacement to solve some minor electrical foibles (Feb 2023)
• Front end refurbishment (Sept 2024)

Exterior

• Elise 111S rear spoiler
• Front splitter
• 111S front light covers
• PNM LED headlights
• New towbar and towing eye (Summer 24)
• Compomotive MO wheels
• Full original lotus hard top
• Refurbished soft top by Allon White in 2022

Interior

• MOMO Team steering wheel and removable boss
• Corbeau LE Pro Kevlar seats trimmed in black and yellow with lotus logo
• Trimmed side pads and centre tunnel
• Schroth 4 point harnesses (have original seatbelts too, but can’t have both at the same time)
• Harness Bar

Suspension & Brakes

• Nitron adjustable coilovers all round
• Suspension refurbishment mentioned above
• CL RC5 pads & new disks (Winter 23)

Engine

• ITG Carbon air filter
• KiwiRog (Sabre) KR1 head
• Newman Ph2 cams
• Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold
• Janspeed flexi and exhaust
• Cat replacement (I still have the original of course)
• Larger diameter throttle body

Bad Points

• Some paint on the rear isn’t fantastic, some scratches and the odd small bubble – not enough to warrant me respraying the whole car
