Lotus Elise S1 111s Azure Blue

Currently sitting at roughly 68,100 miles, with some osmosis coming through unfortunately, hence the price. Chassis points are completely corrosion free and same with the footwell floors – both areas that commonly suffer from corrosion.

It has a large folder of invoices and history, the previous owner owned it since 2004 and had it looked after by Lotus specialist Simon Scott Russel most of that time (and previous to that Paul Matty). In this time, it has been serviced yearly (off the top of my head) and no expense has been spared mechanically.

The interior is a rare blue/cream combination and the car is largely original, except for; the suspension which is now the more refined S2 Bilstein suspension, 52mm alloy throttle body, bush kit gear cables, head gasket replacement, and the stainless sports exhaust fitted by Brooke Kensington.

In the past year I have owned it, I have got lots of use out of it and it hasn’t missed a beat.

The car was in the care of Simon Scott Russel Sports Cars for most of its life, who is a highly regarded Elise specialist and my understanding is that the car has had anything it has needed mechanically (including preventative work), as is evident from the service history (of which there is a large folder).

Despite the unfortunate but common paint issues, this is still a very well serviced, low mileage and owner car which has never been tracked, and they are quite hard to come across in this colour as a 111s.
