Highly Spec’d Rover K Series engine for sale

Freshly rebuilt in 2021 with new components , ancillaries and gaskets including Eliseparts competition head gasket, timing belt and new headbolts.

Still have receipts for blanking kit, pistons, cams, spings, rings etc.

K Series VVC head converted to solid cam with Piper blanking kit, vernier pulleys, valve springs, caps and 285H cams. The head has been relieved around the cam carrier as in common to permit clearance of the cams, also some minor porting to the inlet & exhaust tracks. Water ways de-burred. Freshly built and never run, should be good for circa 200bhp.

K-Series 1.8 bottom end with Baffled sump, new spec (stiffer) oil ladder, new Maxspeeding rods and new Omega pistons. All bearings are new genuine items and sized appropriately. Piston rings are new and gapped to spec. The crank is the original for the block and in good condition. The block was decked slightly increasing compression. Liner heights are good and even on all 4 cylinders.

Selling due to change of plans and now keeping my Elise S1 standard due to unfortunate lack of use and realisation i’m not going to be get the time to complete the intended upgrades on my car.
