Elise 111s

Sadly it’s time to move my Elise on, I bought it with all good intentions to keep the car long term and eventually get it painted, But now due to a changes in circumstances it has to go.

Firstly if you are looking for a mint or show car then this is probably not for you, the car does come with some negative points which I will highlight first to save you reading the full advert. The car is a previous cat d recorded insurance write off(circa2010) although I have no proof to back this up I was told by previous owner it was light front end, clamshell and lights, no structural damage,
Secondly the car does need painted as it suffers from osmosis on most panels except the hardtop. There is light scratches in the paintwork also, car looks great from 15 feet away it’s only on closer inspection you notice the imperfections,
Thirdly, the car has standard Elise seats rather than the correct 111s seats in it, for the keen eye you will notice the orange front indicators and no rear spats! I do have these they are just not fitted yet, they were supposed to get done last year but car barely came out of the garage. They will be included in the sale.

Some good bits now, car was recently serviced including timing belt, coolant expansion tank was replaced at the same time, new battery was fitted at the beginning of last year, wheels were refurbished a couple of years ago and still look in great condition, Toyo proxy tyres all round with good tread left in all, car has been fitted with nitron street series suspension ( car handles great) as the old koni’s were leaking and generally just done, new front drop links also fitted at the same time. Gear linkage busses have been upgraded also as old ones were very worn.

Taking into account the imperfections on the car and what I have seen other 111s Elise’s advertised for I’m putting mines up for sale at what I feel is realistic £13500ovno,
