Brand New Stainless Towing strut post for Early S2 Elise

I bought this as a replacement for my 2004 NA Exige, but it doesn’t fit.

The Exige NA 2004 t0 2006 cars had a slightly different part.

We offer two different versions for the Elise and Exige S2:
Early means all Rover powered Elise S2, Exige up to 06 Modelyear and Elise prior to 07.5 Modelyear.
Late means all other Elise / Exige models.

Please be aware that the late model doesn’t come with welded nuts. As Lotus started to use nutplates on later cars we have chosen to do a universal strut which can be fitted to every late model.

On the early model the threaded tube protrudes approx. 30mm from the welded plate, on the late model the tube protrudes approx. 10mm.
