Extensive folder of documentation history, including receipts and paperwork. Car has been extensively cared for by highly reputable Lotus specialists incl Back of track, tadts and Noble.

Car received significant spend in ownership at 55k with over £13k of work completed by Back on track lotus specialists, including engine upgrades by Minister (official engine tuner partners to lotus)

Chassis & Suspension Rebuild:

• Full suspension strip‑down: wishbones, hubs, brackets and components stripped, blasted, painted/powder‑coated
• Full chassis clean with 3 stage process and clean bill of health
• New OEM bushes,
• New genuine Lotus ball joints throughout
• New elise parts toe links
• New front bearings,
• Steering rack rebuilt with phosphor‑bronze cups
• New drop links and track rod ends
• New stainless fixings throughout (where appropriate)

Further work:

• Front and rear clams removed to allow for full deep clean, inspection and stripdown – all fixings removed and replaced with stainless steel where appropriate, copper slipped and coated with duralac as required.
• New headlights & brackets stripped painted and reglued
• New exhaust heat shields
• New Alternator heat sheild
• New tow post
• Heater matrix stripped and refreshed
• New windscreen
• Wiring checked and retaped
• Hoses and fixings replaced with stainless steel
• New expansion tank
• New ignition leads, cap and rotor arm

• Interior stripped and removed – deep cleaned and inspected, all fixings replaced with stainless where appropriate
• Stereo speakers upgraded
• Dash panels removed and cleaned

Bodywork condition

Bodywork is a fairly presentable 7/10, it has some evidence of its age with marks and blemishes as would be expected for 27 year old car. It has some osmosis on the doors, from 4 feet away it would be difficult to spot (I think the silver helps). Happy to send more detailed pictures and videos to interested parties. It’s a useable car without being too precious. Graphics are removeable but I have found suits the cars presence and motorsport looks.

As can be seen I have spent a lot of time, money and energy, with the intention of it being a keeper, but now selling as S1 Exige has turned my head and don`t have the space for both.
