Lotus Elise 111R

Purchased from Stratstone Leicester in 2005 (see original purchase invoice), this car has been owned by my family since then. I’ve kept all the MOT certificates, multiple tax discs and pages and pages of service receipts. It has a pro-alloy radiator fitted for increased cooling, 340R wheels, ITG induction kit, an ECU reflash, which improves midrange power/torque, an aluminium tow-bar, a MONIT rally meter (tarmac reliability time trial), fire extinguisher, and new hoses throughout. I’ve fitted a trickle-charger connection to the battery and also a rally style cut-off key in the boot, so the battery is always in tip-top condition. Standard the 111R touring pack comes with a lined soft-top, electric windows, mats and air-conditioning (which actually works), plus as can been seen, I’ve purchased a colour-coded hardtop. The car just some from the paint shop where it has been refreshed in saffron yellow. If you know your Lotus cars, then you’ll know the original paint was appalling, and this decision was purely a cosmetic one. The car has just passed it’s 12-month MOT with no advisories, and comes with two sets of the keys, the original Blaupunkt DAB radio, owners manual and radio case. Mechanically and cosmetically, the car is A1. It’s had a recent oil and filter change (see image) and wants for nothing. The car has been impeccable throughout ownership, and has never let me down.
