For sale is my fantastic early Elise S2 with long tail roof. I bought the car 3 years ago as an introduction to Elise ownership and to see how I got on with it, I’ve now got my eyes on another one.
The car has done just over 71000 miles and has standard 120bhp Rover K series engine.
Clean MOT with no advisories, MOT is due in November.
It has had various new parts during my ownership, including:
New Bilstein shock absorbers and springs all round, new alloy radiator and fan, new handbrake cable, new gear linkage, new battery, new head gasket, new cambelt, new silicone hoses.
Cosmetically the car is good and polishes up nicely but does have the usual stone chips and there is one small paint blister on drivers side door top, this was there when I bought it and hasn’t got any worse.
There is a small bit of fibreglass damage on drivers sill where previous owner closed the door on the seat belt clip, there is no damage to the door.
Radio not working as it lost its code and I don’t have it.
I have also replaced the door waist seals but these are not a Lotus part so the finish is not perfect.
