Lotus Elise S2 K-Series

Up for sale is my much loved Lotus Elise S2 K-Series long tail as I need to fund a new family car.

I have owned the car for just over a year and have spent over £6,000 to get it back to a future classic. The following work has all been done in the last 1,000 miles.

Brand new cylinder head, head gasket, oil ladder, piston liners height adjusted, coolant change, water pump and cam belt. All work was completed by Purbeck Sports Cars which is a well known specialist in Dorset. I also had a Elise Parts remote thermostat fitted at the same time to prevent future head gasket problems.

The Elise also has the following upgrades, again, these are all less than 1000 miles old –
Elise Parts throttle linkage
Elise Parts metal coolant hose crossover pipe
Coolex Alloy radiator and fan
Roose Motorsports full coolant hose kit
New front brake pads, pins and clips
New washer jets
Elise Parts matt gear knob

Some other upgrades fitted that are over 1000 miles old but in great condition are –
Larini exhaust
Induction kit (original airbox supplied)
Gaz Coilovers (original suspension supplied)

The Elise is HPI clear and has full service history. I have all the invoices for recent work and work that has been carried out in the last 25 years. Mechanically, this is one of the most sorted S2 K series in the UK. The rear bumper does have a small crack in it (see picture) I was quoted £500 to fix this which I have reflected in the asking price.

The car is currently on a private registration that will be removed before sale.
