340R For Sale – Number 155 of 340

Currently mileage – 11,470.

Full service history –RMS in Romford have looked after the car since August 2020. Serviced annually despite mileage.

All MOTs except 04-05 and 08-09 when the car was off the road and not used.

Massive folder full of receipts to support the history.

Never had oil in it for longer than 1000 miles before a change, usually a lot less. Used 10-60 fully synthetic under my ownership.

Spec

Original 340R magnesium wheels (or TMRs which are currently fitted). Both weigh the same.

Lotus 190 hp kit fitted by first owner – this deletes a lot of the noise suppressing kit, adds a different exhaust cam pulley and an air to oil cooler, full set of silicone hoses.

Emerald ECU, switchable maps and vernier cam pulleys. Mapped at Emerald by Dave Walker. Got 198 hp with standard exhaust.

Bosch wideband lambda and tech edge controller

Reverie air filter (K&N)

OMP brake pads

Full alloy radiator.

Odyssey race battery – can be removed without have to take the body off which is needed for a full size original battery.

Cut body – allows removal of rear section in less than 20 mins. Helps with Cambelt changes and other maintenance and doesn’t need to body off which can be up to an 8 hour job to remove and refit. Looks totally original unless you know the 340R inside out. Can be reversed if originality becomes an issue to value in the future.

Carbon fibre mudguards. Not all cars had these fitted as standard.

Painted Triumph Roulette Green and custom black. All done by StephenM (on SELOC). Underside of body and panels painted satin black. You can’t see it but it’s better than bare GRP!

All brackets and tow eye etc. re-painted black.

Roll bar painted satin black with original safety devices’ decals (no longer available)

Full Venturshield paint protection film including custom cut sill covers and custom mudguard covers

Completely repainted interior in 2 pack matt/satin black paint to replace the very fragile senosoft original paint that marks very, very easily.

Repainted windscreen surround in satin black.

All silver interior parts (centre tunnel, dash bar and side trims) painted in a colour match for the original silver paint matched to a swatch sourced from the original supplier. Satin lacquered. Original paint had soft touch lacquer that did nothing but attract dirt.

Seats reupholstered by Allon White in black Alcantara with green stitching with an extra ¼” of foam added to the backs to add a bit of extra cushioning. Lotus logo as per original embroidered into headrest.

Carbon leather dash cover to replace original rubber/plastic version.

Interior side trims inserts trimmed in carbon leather.

Bad points (I’ve been told it’s immaculate but I have incredibly high standards so look at this list with that in mind. Just want to be totally honest)

A tiny bit of marking on the ventureshield on the top of the body on the driver’s side where people climb in and out. Do have new replacement bits to fit if needed.

A couple of very small marks on the paint but they need to be pointed out to see them. Paint is also ‘deformed’ a little where the fixings for the engine and inspection covers are – common on these cars.

Some chipping to the leading edges of the side pods – common issue with them. Do have some of the black paint so they can be redone.

TMR wheels have some chips on them but original magnesium wheels are fine.

A couple of marks on the interior aluminium on the tub. Only small and don’t detract but they are there.

Reverie carbon fibre boost tube (painted to match) some slight paint damage (cracked) around one of the fixings of the boost tube.

2 x Blue flame titanium exhausts (no longer available to buy)

Track timer kit – includes upgraded rev counter with LCD and staged shift light. Can record 0-60, 0-100, ¼ mile, lap times etc. (no longer available to buy from Lotus)

Pair of brand new headlamps (no longer available to buy form Lotus) and cost over £1200 + vat.
