Unfortunately we need to sell our much loved Mini as we don’t do the mileage to justify a diesel anymore. We have therefore bought a petrol Mini Cooper to replace it.
It took us a long time to find this one as most Mini’s don’t have much equipment but this is a top spec model with half leather interior, large LCD display screen, sat nav, Bluetooth, DAB radio, cruise control, voice activation etc plus in the best colour (also rare) – a proper ‘Italian Job’ colour scheme of metallic red with white roof, bonnet stripes and wing mirrors plus silver alloy wheels and chrome exterior pack.
The car is super reliable and never misses a beat. It is great fun to drive and surprisingly quick and nippy yet also very comfortable with 3 driving modes of eco, normal and sport. Despite being a nice drive, it costs peanuts to run as will return up to 80 mpg on a motorway run plus the road tax is only 20 pounds per year (it was free until April this year when the Government increased it) . We’re not sure how such a good driving car can fall into the lowest tax category but it does – must be the German engineering.
Car is in excellent condition, needs nothing and we will be very sad to see it go. 2 keys, full service history etc.
Has also had the recall done for the EGR cooler at a Mini main dealer.
