To prevent problems with the original plastic dipstick fracturing and ending up in the sump, potentially wrecking the engine, I designed and tested these plugs, the idea being that you fit this in place of the plastic stick, (which you keep on board for checking the oil level) then run at whatever revs. without any worries! As a bonus it adds a bit of bling to the engine bay! They're fitted with 3 viton 'O' rings, the handle being secured with a titanium screw. Delivery is to U/K only

Pair of Lotus 70 year Anniversary stickers from Titanium Dan, they measure 100mm overall and are bright orange. Set of four  standard Bilstein coilovers for the S2 Elise ( Toyota) . As they are standard, the spring rates are 47.5N/mm front and 65N/mm rear . All in very good condition. I bought them from a seller in the States last year who was selling as he had upgraded to Nitrons having done around 20,000 miles on the Bilsteins. Since fitting them I have added a further 5000miles and am now upgrading too. Happy to post to U.K. mainland at buyers cost or indeed collection if preferred.

After 13 years of cherished ownership, I'm reluctantly parting with our black Lotus Elise S2 111S. For 10 years this was my daily driver, but as with most people, during the pandemic I began working from home and our Lotus doesn't get used as much as it used to. So it's time for it to move on to a new home where it will get the use a car like this deserves.

For those in the know about Elises, this particular year and model is regarded by many as one of those holy grail Elises. The reason for this is that this is a 2004 car, which means it's one of the last to have the Rover VVC K Series engine with its 156bhp and is very light (0-60 in 5.4 seconds). It's easier to drive than the 111R, but still gives the same exhilarating driving experience. Combining this power-to-weight ratio with the fact that it doesn't have power steering or servo-assisted brakes, means it's essentially a road legal go-kart - a true driver's car.
