Well, I honestly don’t know where to start with this car. I’m the third owner of this one-off, unique, amazing Elise in Nautilus blue for the last 14 years. Having owned another S1 Elise (VHPD 220bhp version) before this for over 10 years upgrading it as I went… although I always longed for a Honda powered.

This isn’t a low-mileage showroom car. It’s a car that’s been enjoyed to the fullest on both road and track. It gets driven, maintained, driven, maintained, driven, driven, fixed, driven, upgraded, driven and so on. Mechanically it’s spot on. Nothing needs doing (fresh MOT May 24). Bodywork for a 26 year old car is also very good in my opinion. Yes, there are some marks, but TBH, as you’re overtaking pretty much everything, no one looks at that, they just enjoy the noise as much as you will!

So, why am I selling it? Good question. I’ve asked myself this many times. When Covid came along I took it off the road for a while, but then other interests and commitments have come along and it’s been SORN for a couple of years. It’s such an exhilarating joy to drive and having been lucky enough to blast about in S1’s for well over 20 years, I feel someone else should get to enjoy this epic car rather than it being covered up in a garage.

I’ve tried to list as much as I can remember, the car has an extensive history and I’m sure I’ve missed some things, so if you have questions, please do get in touch.

Car comes with a 12 month MOT and has recently just had: brake overhaul (refurbished front calipers, new master cylinder, front and rear pads, new CAT and lambda sensor).

Anyone who comes to view the car WILL NOT be allowed to drive it. Insurance or not. I am happy to take serious buyers out for a drive.
