I’ve owned my Elise since June 2013, buying it from her first owner after a long search to find one in perfect mechanical condition and with a good service history.  Unfortunately I just haven’t used it as much as I’d hoped, covering only 2,500 miles in 12 years, and only 300 miles in the last 5 years.  I keep hoping I’ll have the time, but have to recognise I won’t, and it sits forlorn in the garage.  I was lucky to get a Civic Type R allocation at the start of 2023, and that has been the fun car of choice (3 kids mean that back seats are important…), so the Elise is just never driven.

Completely original apart from the Bell & Colvill Sports Exhaust and the EPTuning Carbon Air intake.  She had all the extra boxes ticked when new - metallic paint, leather seats, stereo system, driving lamps, luggage nets, carpets.

2000MY. Originally a standard S1. 59,000 miles. I’m the 4th owner. I’ve had it for 6 years now. Converted with a uk spec 2005 EP3 engine and gearbox. Now running approximately 220 BHP Stark conversion kit. Motorsport spec driveshaft grease. Baffled sump. Doctrinic ECU with a custom map installed. Larnini Club sport exhaust. K&N filter extended to the side vent. Eliseparts toe link kit Ertaceltal bushes on all 4 corners. All 8 ball joints also replaced at the same time. Track rod ends and drop links also changed. 4x Tinkum wheels bearings. All wishbones stripped and re-painted Nitron NTR40 road spec dampers. EliseParts Ali belled disks at the front. Standard rears. Nice condition with many replacement/upgraded parts including lightweight flywheel, recent upgraded EP clutch assy, rear Uniball toelink set, EP stepped bore exhaust manifold, Janspeed exhaust box, EP aluminium disc bells, Emerald ECU K6, Prodimex shifter kit, EP 4 point drivers harness set, Nitron Street Series adjustable dampers, lightweight Odyssey AGM battery. Apart from the ECU the engine is standard.

To prevent problems with the original plastic dipstick fracturing and ending up in the sump, potentially wrecking the engine, I designed and tested these plugs, the idea being that you fit this in place of the plastic stick, (which you keep on board for checking the oil level) then run at whatever revs. without any worries! As a bonus it adds a bit of bling to the engine bay! They're fitted with 3 viton 'O' rings, the handle being secured with a titanium screw. Delivery is to U/K only

I recently purchased a Sport 410 which came with a spare 2bular trackday exhaust. I won't be doing any track days so it's just collecting dust in the garage. The exhaust has done very few miles and is as in great condition. It comes with the original box and packaging.

I am sure some on this group will know me, Andrew Goater, regarding PG1 gearbox building. Over the last 10 or more years, I have supplied numerous B4BP close ratio gearboxes for Lotus cars on this group.

For racing the B4BP is too long gears. In a similar way that Lotus have their own UCR gear in the 340R cars, I have had custom made a 3 gear (6 sprocket) kit which uses the original C ratio gears 1 and 2 but a very close ratio 3, 4 and 5. The intention is you only use 1st gear off the line and 2 to 5 are very close. It fits a C6BP 3.9 final drive box and on 16" wheels gives a top speed of 125mph. If you use bigger wheels or your engine revs more than 7500rpm a 4.2 final drive can be used.

The gears are helical and are the same tooth design as the original gears. So, unlike using straight cut, these are quiet.

NEW short shifter fits both S1 and S2 k series engined models

Stainless lever with Alloy pivot (so looks great too) and a sachet of molly grease.

The dimensions of the gear lever pivot point are different to the standard fitment hence this  will enable a shorter ‘throw’ on the gear lever which will quicken the shift action of the gear change

Very easy instal (approx 45 mins)

Transform the gearchange on your k series Elise s1 and s2 with these precision made nylatron gear linkage bushes.

These replace your worn rubber bushes on the cable ends of the gear linkage and the plastic bushes on the bell crank pivot.

When fitted these will give a much more positive feel to the gear change
