To prevent problems with the original plastic dipstick fracturing and ending up in the sump, potentially wrecking the engine, I designed and tested these plugs, the idea being that you fit this in place of the plastic stick, (which you keep on board for checking the oil level) then run at whatever revs. without any worries!
As a bonus it ads a bit of bling to the engine bay!
They're fitted with 3 viton 'O' rings, the handle being secured with a titanium screw.
I am selling my Komotec 490bhp kit from my 3-Eleven, it includes the manifolds, gaskets, carbon airbox and the wiring looms. Once fitted, the car will need the Komotec map, which can be done at Hangar 111 or other Lotus specialists. The kit is in perfect working order and makes a HUGE difference to the performance of the car without putting any extra strain on internals. I have been running the kit for 3 years without any issues.
Currently retails at Komotec at a cost of £6,000.
Cat stainless replacement pipe, in as new condition, appears to have been fitted at some time, but never used, the bore is as clean as the outside.
I bought a used 4 branch exhaust for my S2, and this was included with it.

For sale is my silver 1999 Lotus Elise S1 111s first registered in July 1999 with just over 63,234 miles and a full, documented service history.
The car has been meticulously maintained and cared for throughout its life. As well as the full-service history there are numerous receipts for all work done on the car from 1999 to present day.
This Elise had been sitting in a storage unit for 10 years after the owner pasted away and I acquired it at auction late June 2023. It was then dry stored it until being fully recommissioned by Scott-Russell Sports cars in June 2024 including brand new Yokohama AD08R S1 tyres that have less than 1100 miles on them. (Invoice of all work done & parts fitted included in documentation). Car started 1st time after recommissioning. Also just fitted, brand new exhaust downpipe
The 111s variant was more powerful than the standard version S1 Elise with a Variable Valve Control ('VVC') engine delivering a 25bhp increase in po…
1999 Honda Powered Sport 135.
Number 15 of the original 50. I still looks like a standard Sport 135 but with a bit more than the original 135 bhp (Sport 235?).
80k miles on the car. Unsure on the engine but it was converted 12 years ago so the engine would have been fairly lightly used (compared to what you’d get today). Stark conversion kit with all receipts. Under exhaust manifold so it retains the boot. It recently had all the suspension bushes and ball joints replaced as well as a coat of paint for all the wishbones and roll bar. Gaz adjustable dampers. I’ve just had the front end, bonnet and roll hoop repainted to tidy up the stone chips. Also the AWI wheels have been recently refurbished. I’ve replaced a lot of the fixings so any further work on this shouldn’t be too much of a chore.
The engine is pretty much standard apart from a Hondata Ecu which is currently running the standard base map.
It should make either a great everyday qu…
These are some of the last parts I have for sale that I've removed during my cars major rebuild, I've replaced most of them with carbon, or just removed them to reduce weight! They are all in good condition, with no corrosion obviously as they're anodized. I'm open to any offers for individual parts, or all of them as one lot.
Postage cost would have to be worked out, depending on size and weight.
Once fitted, these allow use of lift point C for jacking or supporting the car without having to remove the undertray; and if used with a 2 post lift, prevent any chance of the car toppling over backwards when removing the front wheels having used lift point A instead.
They are the correct size to match the crossmember, anything larger resulting in them not being flush with the sides of the chassis, as it tapers forward from the mounting point.
To fit them you simply remove the undertray, undo the outer crossmember bolt nearest the sill, and fit in place using the supplied replacement longer bolt, with the 'larger' side of the puck pointing inwards towards the centre of the car, so that the support is between the bolts.
They will fit all models/variants of the S1, S2 & S3 Elise/Exige also the VX220 & Europa.
Now includes a pair of good quality 'Jack Point' stickers for marking the undertray, courtesy of 'Divine Handcraft'
