start button and heavy duty toggle switches for all systems.

Fully re-engineered gear change system utilising a Coolerworx gear lever mounted to a custom designed tower and bell crank arrangement which operate two heavy duty Ringspan cables which terminate on custom made brackets at the gearbox.
This positive system is fully adjustable and completely eliminates the vague and sloppy feel of the standard unit.
This car has been developed over the last ten years, starting out as a very clean 1998 Bell & Colvill Super 160 Elise.
When purchased the car had covered approximately 59,000 miles. Initial use and track day shake downs of the car following various wheel and tyre upgrades saw a further 2000 miles.
On completion of the conversion in September 2012, due to the new instruments, the odometer reading was zero and is now showing approximately 3,500.
At the beginning of this project, it was the intention to build a very reliable, very capable road legal track day car. The brief was certainly achieved. The car has never failed; used on countless track days, many class wins in Javelin Sprint Series events and raced in club events with Northern Sports and Saloons.
