Clio 1.8 16v
Regrettably due to change in personal circumstances, selling the valver I have had the pleasure of owning twice. Originally Bought the car approx 2017ish then sold it to a local mechanic in 2019 (member on here) and then when he sold it earlier this year I made more of an impulse buy to get it back! It has recently passed its MOT, i got a bit of welding done to get it through and to keep it on the road for many more years to come hopefully.

Little service history (mainly work last owner carried out), will come with folder of receipts and a booklet with service book and manuals
Ph2 interior fitted, there is a strut brace of some sort in the boot, electric windows and manual sunroof (sealed shut, you know why).
In the past few years it has covered only a few mile in good weather and between 2019-2020 MOT only covering 39 miles, since march 2020 the previous owner carried out a lot of work to replace/refurbish most of the brake and suspension components including wire brushing the underside and applying a spray on underseal.
The bodywork had a bit of paint in spring this year at a local garage to sort out 30 years of stone chips and car park dings, so when its cleaned and polished its looks really good for its age. Rust is very minimal and mainly surface corrosion around the bottom of the sills, there is no holes or bubbles on the arches or sills. As a whole its not too bad and perfectly usable.
When I purchased the car it came with a Supersprint manifold, silenced decat and Scorpion cat back system, i have now bought and had fitted new old stock genuine Renault back box and a Williams original centre section, the Scorpion system is included in the sale.

Suspension & Brakes:
New front shock absorbers, springs and top mounts.
New front lower suspension arms.
New front anti roll bar outer links.
New inner and outer steering rack joints inc new boots + wheel alignment.
New front discs and pads.
New front calipers (painted with high temp silver) + new brake hoses.
Replacement non abs front hubs (painted with chassis black) with new bearings.
All brake hard lines from master cylinder have been replaced including all hard lines from load valve with cupronickel pipes and new unions.
Rear axle painted with chassis black.
New rear shock absorbers.
New rear discs (with new bearings) and pads (Both disc heat shields still present).
New rear calipers + fitting kit (painted with high temp silver) + new brake hoses.
New handbrake cables
Rear load valve stripped and cleaned.
Welding to pass MOT completed in August 2021
Underbody including arches and above fuel tank wire brushed and sprayed with Dinitrol 4941 underbody coating, where possible chassis was also sprayed with Dinitrol 1000 cavity wax.
Centre exhaust heat shields painted in high temp silver, rear exhaust heat shield is still present but not fitted as it needs some repair work to be perfect.
Spare wheel carrier has been painted but not fitted as I don’t have the hook and screw to hold it up.
Original spare wheel also included.
Oil and filter changed x3 (September 18, 19 & May 21).
Spark plugs changed.
Air filter changed.
Fuel filter changed.
Cambelt changed January 21.
Auxiliary belt changed.
New genuine alternator.
New Renault battery (with Noco trickle charger connection).
Coolant change including new thermostat and reservoir.
Brake fluid changed.
New clutch cable
Bodywork & Misc:
New wiper blades all round.
Fresh set of number plates.
Fog lights stripped apart and repainted silver with yellow bulbs installed.
Drivers door hinge bushings replaced.
Genuine Renault tape radio installed, not original to the car but close as I could get.
OSF arch liner front section missing (struggled to find a replacement).
Spare wheel carrier is not currently fitted.
Drivers seat has material rip 3/4 of the way up – annoyingly just happened in last couple of week
Both rear tyres could do with replacing, they have very good tread but getting quite old.
Only one key – plipper doesnt work on key but central locking works on internal button and all doors can be opened/unlocked with the key.
This is a great car, and we know prices are going one way. Not in a rush to sell, so wont take silly offers, no I don’t want a P/X.
