ModelCaterham 7 Ratrace R323

Built in 1994, as a Caterham 7 Classic SE, but now heavily upgraded and rebuilt by Ratrace this is effectively a 2003 car.

Two previous owners. The previous owner acquired the car in 1998, and spent about £35,000 on upgrades, including rebuild/conversion and engine upgrade in 2003. The car was then parked up in 2008 until I bought it in 2015.
I have a large history file including the original bill of sale and build manual.

MoT expires 2nd March 2023

The Bad Bits

Bodywork is not mint and has some minor knocks (I can send photos)

The original speedo is not currently working (hence the GPS speedo, which is easier to read anyway). The odometer currently reads 24,000, but true mileage is more likely about 35,000. However, due to the change of gearbox the speedo used to read about 15mph high meaning the odometer reading would be a bit higher than it should have been.

Bonus Bundle

Two sets of Mike Barnby R500 magnesium split rims, including MB top hat bolts. These were crack tested and painted by MB in March 2019. One set has done probably less than 500 miles since the refurb and is currently fitted with tyres that are not road legal, but can be used for dry track days. The other set, two wheels have never been back on the road and the other two wheels have done less than 100 miles if any.

I also have;

• Aeroscreen, (without attached side mirrors) (centre mirror is roll cage mounted)
• Half doors
• Wind deflectors
• Tunnel bag with storage pockets (now sold)
• Home made long shower cap, ideal for parking or on a trailer
• Tonneau (but does not fit with taller Tillet seats, but could be altered)
• Quick Lift Jack (great for changing wheels)
• Spare clutch cable new unused
• Spare distributor caps
• Box of sundry mirrors
• Miscellaneous road springs
• £260 worth of engine oil, diff oil, Valve Seat Lubricant & Combustion Enhancer, oil filter and air filter cleaner, all sealed and unused
• And anything else I can find knocking around the garage (part used brake pads).

If it all goes with the car I could throw this lot in for £2,500
