The Adaptive Air suspension makes a huge difference to the car – there are not many used examples out there with this option.   It is way superior to the optional adaptive dampers found on other VW/Audi group cars.  With several modes and ride heights from Off Road through to Dynamic, the on-road ride and handling (and off-road ability if needed) is leaps and bounds ahead of a Q5 with the standard suspension. In Dynamic mode it transforms into a sharp handling car that will happily live with many so-called sports cars on twisty roads.   The multifunction steering wheel is well equipped and includes shift paddles for more direct control of gear shifts.   The car is very quiet on the move thanks to the double glazed windscreen and side windows, and it drives as it should with absolutely no squeaks or rattles.

The exterior is in immaculate order, with just a couple of very minor stone chips on the bonnet as you would expect. Zero kerb marks on the optional 20” wheels.  The interior is in near new condition, showing very, very few signs of use, with the seats having benefitted from GardX protection from new.  It is a very nice place to be with the panoramic sunroof, virtual cockpit, technology pack, extended lighting pack etc.  Genuine Q5 all-weather rubber mats are included.   The boot carpet has also been protected from new by a proper Q5 boot liner (included).   

The sound quality from the Bang & Olufsen 19 speaker audio is outstanding, and the Virtual Cockpit provides a range of info in the instrument binnacle to help you keep your eyes on the road ahead.   The added convenience of Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is a major plus and something that you use every day.

The car has been flawless, and returns between 45-55mpg in normal use.
